Our Story
How Germany's most beloved street food found a home in the heart of Poblacion.
The Origin
House of Döner is the first to bring authentic halal Turkish-German döner to the Philippines, crafted fresh daily by Chef Cengiz Aydogan. Döner comes from the Turkish word for "roll" — the meat is stacked vertically on a spit so the juices drip down into each other rather than into the fire, keeping every layer moist.
Homemade pita baked fresh from scratch daily. USDA-imported beef and chicken, halal-certified with no fillers or extenders. Sauces, yogurt and dips made in-house for authentic flavor. Every single day.
Our Journey
Turkish immigrant Kadir Nurman is widely credited with inventing the takeaway döner kebab in West Berlin, creating a street food revolution that would sweep across Europe.
After years of travelling through Berlin, Istanbul, and London — and eating countless döner kebabs — a question emerged: why can't Manila have this? The Philippines deserved an authentic German döner experience.
General Luna Street, Poblacion — the perfect location. Surrounded by the energy of Makati's most vibrant neighbourhood, House of Döner opened its doors and quickly became a late-night institution.
Word spread fast. With a 4.9-star rating across 120+ reviews, House of Döner became the go-to döner destination in Metro Manila — praised for authenticity, quality, and consistency.
Due to overwhelming demand, House of Döner expands to Bonifacio Global City. A second home near Burgos Circle, bringing the same uncompromising quality to Taguig's food lovers.
